Questions for Candidates for State and National Offices

Questions on assorted topics, from assorted sources. You may like some of these questions better than others, or have your own to add to the list. If you want to add your own question, we will try to post them. To do this, contact questions@uppervalleyleague.org with an email that gives your name and town.

From the 2008 Ilead program this past summer, a set of questions based on those lectures.

From the National League of Women Voters, a set of suggested questions on national issues of concern to that level of that organization. These questions would be suitable for candidates for Congress.

From a September 26th New York Times Op-Ed article, a set of questions on foreign relations from several experts on this topic.

A set of sample questions on Vermont issues.

The Upper Valley League plans to ask some of these questions of the candidates for state and national offices in the Upper Valley, and post them below next to the contest.
