League of NH Day at the Capitol

Meet at the NH League office, 4 Park Street, Concord
How many women have their portraits in the Capitol? Where is the Senate Gallery? Where do Committees meet? What do you mean - there's a tunnel connecting the Capitol and the LOB? What's the LOB?
Join fellow Leaguers as we tour the Capitol area, learn about the sessions of the Senate, the House and the work of the committees. Learn how and when citizen input is important _ you can make a difference - and you can help the League make a difference! We'll meet at the League office and head off to the Capitol, ending with lunch in the cafeteria as we further discuss ways each of us can make an impact on our state government.

Dr. Adams is Coordinator and Dr. Waddell is a Program Consultant for Dartmouth’s Global Health Initiative.

The media frequently report on dire health issues in Africa; Dartmouth is doing something about it. Come learn about an exciting partnership between Dartmouth and Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences in Tanzania. Two Dartmouth senior researchers will describe their involvement in a tuberculosis vaccine trial, a program for training Tanzanian researchers, and the DARDAR care and treatment program for HIV-infected children. They will also discuss Dartmouth’s Global Health Initiative.

There is no parking lot at the church but parking is available on Union Street (please leave a couple of spaces directly in front of the church for handicapped parking) . Parking is also allowed on both sides of Myrtle and Prospect and on Walnut Street (parallel to Union, behind the church).
